Our repair took several weeks to be completed. First our repairman showed up with the wrong glass. He removed the old glass and put wrapping around the.back glass for a week while we waited. The wrap left an extremely sticky residue when removed that took hours to remove. About a week later the right glass came in and it was installed, however the wiper and locking clamp weren't properly removed from the broken glass and he then needed to order more parts and taped the window shut. When asked if we would be responsible for paying for the missing pieces that he forgot to remove from the old glass, he assured us that we would not. About a week or so later we were notified that the parts were finally in. He arrived while I was sleeping (I work night shift as a police officer) and worked with my wife. He installed the missing part, however it doesn't close properly. The glass must be slammed shut with force to lock into place. The installer told us that it would be like that for awhile "until it loosens up," which doesn't seem right to me. Finally, when I just received the email with an invoice I noticed that we were charged for the part that we were assured we wouldn't be charged for. I haven't had the chance to talk to someone about the invoice yet, but I will be calling. So disappointing. I called ABRA based on a recommendation from my local dealership, but this service has been well below expectations.

Tech was great as is the new windshield..... Only minor issue was having to use and transfer my a/c info via telephone in the computer age... Thought you'd be tied together better...Pat
